At MCxWC, every Friday is a pretty damn good Friday. So it’s no coincidence that today is actually Good Friday and we have Ms. Raquel as our Bad Bitch of the Week. This lady is somethin’ else! Hip hop artist, entrepreneur, model and all around amazin’ personality, this baber has a lot to strut about. Born on Pendor Island with a population of only 1,200 at the time, Chelsea spend most of her years jammin’ to some Seattle hip hop station, drawin’ and writin’ on what she calls, “bad poetry”.
A self made hip hop artist, Chelsea began schoolin’ herself in urban music which lead to her eventual breakthrough by winnin’ the Beat 94.5 Rap Freestyle Battle live on air. Her distinct style and flow made ears perk as this girly paved the way to projects such as Hot For Astronomy and her current venture, Lanse Base. At the age of 18, Chelsea attended Emily Carr University of Art on a full four year scholarship. Fuckin’ beautiful & brains.
Aside from her music and bein’ an all around bad bitch, Chelsea also runs her own online boutique shop, Arc & Quel, where she sells swaggy new, vintage and homemade items. She has also been involved with various video (five music videos directed by famed Canadian director Stuey Kubrick) and print modeling, one being Celebrities Nightclub where she had her face and ass plastered all over their website (see for yourself, girly is front page son). She loves her dog and is excellent at gettin’ paper for the clubs she promotes for.
